It seems like we have done a lot of traveling lately. I told you that we were going to Oregon. I probably won't post anything until we get back. I don't know who will be at the family reunion. It's a long way to travel for a lot of people -- us included.
I'm including a couple of pictures that may be weird to many of you. I didn't tell you that when we were in Branson last week, Alan bought me a dulcimer. He wants me to learn to play it so I can play and sing with him as he plays his guitar. Amy and Karen were here over the weekend. They got quite a kick out of the idea. They said that it was funny all the things we are doing now that all the "kids" are out of the house. Amy took some pictures; I'm using them. The funniest thing is that after we return from Oregon, we drive directly to Chatanooga, Tennessee for a dulcimer festival. Weird, huh? They have classes starting with beginners and going up to those that are pretty experienced. Needless to say, I will be the absolute beginner. You'll notice from the pictures that Alan bought a really good looking hat while we were in Branson. It's leather and looks much better than a ballcap when he's out in the sun.
Hope you are all doing well. I'll check back with you when we are back.
