While Karen went to Youth Conference

Okay, here is a small look at us while Karen was attending Youth Conference in Columbia.  It was so nice that it was in Columbia.  It saved her a whole lot of traveling.

Cute little Emily did really well while her mom & dad were away.  Here she is posing for the camera.
Here is Grandpa watching his cute little grandchildren.
Aaron stopped by for a visit again.  Emily found his wallet and keys.  She loved playing with the money and didn't really want to give it back.

Here is Andrew relaxing with Grandma's Ipod.
As part of Andrew's lunch I gave him some cherries.  They were sweet and VERY juicy.  I told him he had a cherry face and he was very happy about it.  I kept saying "cherry face" and he would laugh and laugh.

Emily is very tactile with her food -- must take after her mom.  I love the bit of broccoli on her cheek.
Yea!!! Daddy's home!!!  He was busy taking the bar while Youth Conference was going on.  Judging by the smile on his face he is just as happy as the kids that the bar is over and he is able to be home again.

Another Food Post

Food posts seem to be the quickest ones to do so here is another one.  Hmmm . . . . my background isn't showing up when I look at my preview.  I hope it comes back before everyone looks at this.

I made peach butter out of the last of the peaches I got from Kathy.  They looked much prettier here than they did in the jar so here you go.

This is a squash casserole.  It's a very good recipe containing sour cream, cheese and bacon.  Alan asked me if I was hiding the squash with those other ingredients.  I do like squash but it's even more yummy this way.

RS Temple Trip

We're back from our latest temple trip.  Salem Relief Society made another temple trip on our stake temple day.  Since it was during the week not all were able to attend, but we will do another on a Saturday so that hopefully they will be able to go.  It was a good day and much was accomplished.
Here's another shot of us outside the temple doors.  Aren't we cute?

Busy Day

Here's what I've been up to today.  There are 27 of these beautiful little jars.  We'll sure enjoy them this winter.  I can't imagine winter at this point but it'll come and it'll probably be really cold.  Why can't we average out some of these temperatures?

Cute Little Guy

Maybe I'm just weird but I think these little guys are so cute.  I expect if I were a small bug my opinion would be a lot different.  I tried to get him to look at me but this was the best I could get.

Off to Karen's again. . .

We spent a couple more days at Karen & Michael's house.  On the way I tried to take a picture of a beautiful sunset.  The sky was amazing but it tamed down a lot while I searched for my camera which was buried in the bag I was carrying.  It still looks pretty here but I wish I could have caught it a couple of minutes before.

Aaron came over for dinner and a visit.  Does this look familiar to anyone?
Emily adores her daddy.
Emily is much more steady on her feet since we saw her two weeks ago.  In about three more weeks we'll get to see Noah walking.  Thanks for the videos, Jeanette.  How cute all these little babies are!
