Great Muffins!

Dad brought home some fresh blueberries the other day. They looked so good, but I have not been happy with my current blueberry muffin recipe. The muffin part seems so dry. So.... I got on the trusty internet and typed in blueberry muffin recipe and the first one that came up was called "To die for blueberry muffins". So I decided to try them and see. I was very pleased. I'll make them again sometime when you come down and you can see what you think of them. The picture I'm attaching is just the one from the website. I didn't think to take a picture until they were eaten.

The "Barnard" guys float trip

I haven't posted lately; here is a picture that I told Jeanette I would post of the "guys" after their annual float trip. I took a picture since they all came back sunburned -- except Michael Barnard. He wore a hat. (Notice his self-satisfied smile) This year their float trip was a trip to Six Flags where they drank so much soda that they floated.

Karen & Mike's Move-in

We made two trips to Columbia during the past week to help with Karen & Mike's move to their new home. The first trip was to actually help move things to the new location; the second was in conjunction with a VA appointment of Alan's. We needed to be in Columbia anyway, so this was a good opportunity to visit a little and perhaps be of a little assistance in putting things away and of course spend a little time with Andrew. Their new home is a very nice duplex in a good neighborhood. I'm adding photos to show where they have gone and to also show the cuteness of Drew.
