Those of you who are wondering about the condition of my foot -- here it is in all its disgusting glory.
I go back to the doctor this Wednesday to get the stitches out. Hopefully it will look better then.

Alan bought me a cane which helps keep some of my weight off it when I walk. I took it to church with me this morning. I leaned it up against my chair and then got up and tripped over it, almost falling on my face. Luckily I caught hold of a chair and didn't make too much of a fool of myself. I think I almost gave Sister Asher a heart attack though.

| These are actually some weeds that are growing along side our house. We used to have flowers planted here but we've sort of ignored it the past couple of years. This is what has come up on its own. I wonder what they are. They look pretty nice when they are blooming. |

I saw the doctor yesterday and he said that it looked like it was doing great. It is actually feeling better, but I still have to ice it and keep it elevated most of the time. It will be X-rayed next week to make sure all is well.
