I hate that most of my posts have been medical things; it sounds so OLD !! As I said before, I had pretty well met my deductible with the March surgery so it only made sense to go ahead and do my foot surgery during the same year. On Friday I went in and got it done. The good thing about it was that it didn't require a bowel prep. I'd done three of those this year and sure didn't want another. This surgery just involves pain. I shouldn't complain though; it's just that it's hard to walk and I seem to want to get up so many times during the day. It seems better today than it was yesterday so I figure it will probably get a little better with each coming day.
Enough complaints. Let me share a close-up of my snap dragons. I positively love the color of these sunny little beauties.

| We were at Amy's house on her birthday. I made her a cake called fudgey pecan cake. Unless you have tried it, you can't imagine its chocolate yumminess (covered with ganache). I'd like to make another one and eat the whole thing myself, but that won't be happening. Sigh! |

| My foot isn't really that big. I've got the post-op shoe on and an ice pack on top of that. Mostly it looks so huge because it's close to the camera. As you can see, Pakamer loves having someone sitting around all the time. She thinks it is all just for her. |
