Yet another Branson Trip

Okay, I know we have been to Branson quite a few times.  We left last Monday and stayed until Friday.  Since we signed up before a certain date they upgraded us to a condo, which is much nicer to stay in than a regular hotel room.  We didn't buy any time shares, etc. but I did buy a new purse and Alan bought a new belt.  We are just a wild and crazy couple!!  I'm going to post a few pictures.  We saw quite a bit of tornado damage.  Some places just had roof damage while other places were completely flattened.  The construction people were working all over and were probably happy to have the work.

We saw the Titanic Museum.  We had passed it up before but since this year was the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic we decided to see what they had to show.  It was really very interesting; the guides were very informative.  You have these little speakers you wear around your neck that tell you all about what you are seeing; you just push a button when you are ready to hear it so you can take as much time as you want in each area.  Worth doing.

We also saw the Haygoods.  This may well be the best show in Branson; at least it is one of the best.  I would recommend it it anyone who goes there.

We found it funny that the damage to Titanic was right by the "iceberg" so we shot a picture of them fixing the damage 100 years after the collision.

I'm not sure; did this guy's insurance turn him down???

This would not be the hotel to stay in.

Here I am with Roy Rogers' horse Trigger and dog Bullet.  They've been stuffed for years and I was stuffed after eating at the buffet.
Here we are down by the lake.  Fishing is very big in Branson.

A guy did a series of pictures in mosaic depicting the creation.  They were very good; I particularly liked this one.

This isn't done in the same way as our ornaments of shame we like to make fun of at Christmas time, but Mermaid of Shame was the name that popped into our heads when we saw this creation.  This was not done by the same artist that did the above series.

The Haygoods are a family of six brothers and one sister who are multi-talented.  They sing, dance, play various instruments and seemingly have no end to their energy.  We had three groups of teens in our audience that had come with their schools so there was much enthusiasm; that added to the excitement.  I took quite a few pictures but the ones where someone was just singing didn't seem as interesting, so I've got more of the "on the piano" ones here.

Looks like you guys had fun. The mermaid is pretty horrible, and I think you named it quite well. The one of the show you saw with the fire and the guy holding up the violin looks awesome.
