2nd Post from our Branson Trip

We went to Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede.  We never really considered going there before -- after all who wants to eat dinner while horses and cows are running around in front of you?  But so many people recommended it so we thought, "Why not give it a try?"  It was really a great show.  You're up and away from the animals yet the seats are good, the food is good too and the animals are really beautiful and perfectly trained.  We saw horses, long horn cattle, baby pigs, trick riders, bison, miniature ponies, etc.  They even came by and asked Alan to participate in a "horse shoe pitch".  When it was time for him to enter the arena, he found that the horse shoes were actually toilet seats.   We were told not to take pictures of the show, but I tried to sneak a few of Alan.  They are a bit fuzzy but here he is.
