A New Face to Love

We got a phone call from Karen yesterday saying that she just got out of a doctor's appointment.  She was told that they would induce the next day if she chose to do it.  She was so close to birthing and the baby was pretty big.  She has been so miserable lately and really wanted it to be over.  We packed some things and came over yesterday evening.  Karen was already having some labor pains which continued through the evening.  Around 11:00 P.M. she decided that it was time to head for the hospital. No induction for him.  Henry David Jacobs made his appearance about 4:30 A.M. today (April 28, 2015) -- all 9 pounds 5 ounces, 23 inches of him.  He is a cutie and looks so much like his brothers and sister.  My first thought was, "That is a familiar face."  Here are a few pictures from our brief visit.  Karen has a cute one of all of them at the hospital.
