Sad Excitement in the Neighborhood

We heard a siren this afternoon.  That's not really anything very surprising since the police and the fire fighters often take this route.  Alan looked out the window to see what was going on and saw that the fire engine had stopped right outside at the intersection of the two streets near our front door.  He then stepped out onto the front porch.  He then said something like, "Oh, wow, look at that!"  I asked what it was and he said to come out and see.  This was just across Franklin:

It got smokier as they shot more water onto it.
