Jeanette is a new mom
Jeanette went into the hospital Saturday night to begin her induction. They readied her that night and then began the pitocin Sunday morning. She was progressing, but when the contractions got stronger the baby's heartbeat dropped. After a little while her doctor told her that this would be detrimental to the baby's health over a period of time so they sent her down for a c-section. Of course this wasn't what Jeanette had wanted, but the operation was successful and she now has a beautiful little baby boy. He weighs 6 pounds 8 ounces and is 20 inches long. Jason was able to be with her the entire time. They will be deciding for certain today on the baby's name. They have been agonizing over a list of posibilities for some time. He has to be named before they will allow him to leave the hospital though, so we will know his name soon.

Oh my goodness. What a cute little guy. I can't wait to meet him!!!
Poor Jeanette! That must be hard for a mom to watch her daughter go through. I'm sure Jeanette will say it was all worth it though ;)
