What do you think of this? Dad found him (or her) on the front porch when he was moving some unused mulch out to the shed. He grabbed a glass jar and put it in there to show me. Luckily he knows I don't freak out at the sight of spiders (especially when they are behind glass). Unfortunately I couldn't get a good clear picture of the bottom of the spider due to the curvature of the jar.

We saw some at camp last year that had the hourglass on their backs... but that one looks like a genuine black widow. Creepers.

Looks like I may never visit again! Oh, okay, I'll come but keep that pet and any of her sisters on a leash when I come!!!
