School's out !!!

School is out; YEA!!! I was only going to put two exclamation points, but decided it deserved three. Actually I had a pretty good school year, working with the kindergarten and first grade. They were really cute and a lot of fun. We had a field trip to the Magic House in St. Louis Wednesday. If you haven't been there, or even if you haven't been there lately, you should go. It's best if you take a child with you though. There is SO much for them to do. (Good hands-on stuff)

Alan and I sat down yesterday and started a list of things that need doing this summer. It was amazingly long. The first thing is to see our new grandson. The trouble is we need to get him born first. Karen, that's your job.

Alan went in Thursday for his first jury duty. They settled out of court and sent them all home. They will call him again later, but we don't know when. If we are to be out of town, we contact the sheriff's office and let them know so he doesn't get in trouble for not showing up. This can go on clear up until October. Last year when I was called for jury duty, they picked me the firest time, I put in a couple of days and then they said I wouldn't be called again. I was free from June till October. I wonder if he will get to listen to any interesting cases???

Got a letter from Aaron today. He's doing well. He said he just finished reading the Book of Mormon. His goal seems to be to read it at least five times and to also read the entire standard works and the missionary library before he returns home. I've got a feeling he is going to do a lot better than I am in that respect. I need to look at the CD of pictures he sent to try again to copy some of them to add to the blogs. It worked for Karen when she was here. Hmmm... I wonder what I am doing wrong? Aaron says that he will probably be sending another CD pretty soon. I'd better figure it out before then. My blog is pretty boring without pictures.

Working on it. It's your grandson that needs to get a move on. :) Seriously, I think he just needs to know that we all want to see his cuteness!! :)
