I didn't mention in the last entry that Alan now has shingles. He called me at Youth Confernce to tell me that he was in Columbia seeing a doctor. It was weird; he was only a few blocks from me and we never saw each other. By the way, never get shingles. It is very painful, uncomfortable and apparently it lasts quite a while.
Michael and his family were able to come down for a visit last weekend. It was good to see them. They spent a good bit of Saturday canoeing down the Current River. They were exhausted, but had a good time. Here's a picture of them right before they left to go home.
